Your first footprints were gently pressed into the fabric of forever –

While your first flutters found a familiar fold within my soul.

Hope and Comfort through Miscarriage

Christ's Passion - Hope and comfort through miscarriage is an intimate recount from Heide L. Wright, as she journeyed her way through grief to healing after three miscarriages.

Sharing raw emotion, heartfelt poetry and a delicate testimony, Christ's Passion is an honest artistry not only for healing, but additionally for readers to discover an even greater love.

Presented with virtue, the delightful imagery complements the gentle tone that whispers hope throughout the words that grace each sentiment. This sincere book creates an opportunity for the reader to reflect on their own personal journey through the included journal and reflection space.

Christ's Passion - Hope and comfort through miscarriage is a must read for anyone experiencing the devastation of loss.

My Story

My heart is for those walking through the ache of pregnancy loss – whether miscarriage, infant loss, or abortion grief. I write not to give answers, but to offer presence: words that hold space for sorrow while pointing gently to hope in Christ.

My book Christ’s Passion – Hope and Comfort Through Miscarriage was born from my own journey of loss, and I pray it brings companionship to others who grieve. I have also written Bring Me Roses, a collection of poems written as the Lord led me from anorexia toward healing – many of which now weave into my ongoing writing.

Through poetry, testimony, and reflection, I seek to remind readers that grief and grace can coexist, and that God’s love remains faithful even in the hardest seasons. My hope is that you will feel less alone, and more held, as you discover His unfailing love in your own story.

But let all who take refuge in You be glad, Let them ever sing for joy; and may You shelter them, that those who love Your name may exult in You.

Reviews

As a tertiary lecturer on the subject of grief, loss and trauma, I appreciated a first-hand, non-clinical perspective on a subject that affects so many women. A useful, practical book. I have recommended it to student ministers and chaplains.

The format of the book, which allows space for a woman’s personal reflection and spiritual contemplation is very helpful. Parents of unborn children do not need a clinical book about what happens medically, they need comfort and hope. The naming of a baby born unable to survive (for whatever reason) is a powerful thing that doesn’t deny or minimise the loss and makes meaning of the pain.

The dreams of the future of an unborn child are powerfully emotive.

Thank you for sharing your hourney of hope... Christ is the answer to all life’s pains.
